2018 Pixie Mead
Carlton, WA
Bee Magic from Hive to Bottle. Benjamin Pixie made his first mead before he was old enough to purchase it. He shared it with friends in the mountains, near the fireweed bloom from which that honey had been gathered. Benjamin found himself running through the dark forest offering sacred libations to his friends to sweeten, buzz, and bewilder their senses. He found his calling in life as the bearer of this golden elixir of delight and soon dove deep into mead making.

Two brothers from Texas that live in California that are bringing the new frontier of mead.
Irvine, CA
This mead is light and crisp, with great floral notes. Drinking it is like a creamy, beautifully made champagne from honey.
2020 Beeometry

At BEEOMETRY, we produce a “West Coast” mead, in reference to Southern California, where this style of mead was invented by Frank Golbeck as a refreshing drink perfectly adapted to the local climate. It is a style of mead with very little residual sugar, added carbon dioxide, and a floral and fruity bouquet.

Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia
We give thanks and respect to the Traditional Custodians of this land, the Dharawal people; past, present and emerging.
Named after our two children; Hunter and Harper, we're a micro-meadery based in Wollongong producing small batched, limited released meads unlike anything you've ever tried before.
2017 Buzz Mead
Mandeville, Jamaica
Grace Foster-Reid formed EcoFarms with a vision to create 100 among marginalized people. This family-owned social enterprise is run by a MIT-graduate Engineer and a team of dedicated employees.
EcoFarms innovate honey. We utilize sustainable technology to produce organic-quality products. We strategically position our bees in remote areas near orchards of coffee, logwood, orange, flowering trees and crops. Honey from these apiaries is transported to our factory where it is bottled as raw organic-quality honey or used as the main raw material in our products. These products include:
– Buzz HoneyStix – a natural, healthy snacks formed by blending our honey with natural flavours ranging from tamarind to ginger.
– Buzz Mead – this gold medal honey wine is created when we ferment honey with exotic tropical fruit.
– Other products include flavoured honey, pollen and wax candles.
EcoFarms recently partnered with the Jamaica Deaf Village to train deaf youth as beekeepers.
2016 Griffin Meadery
Willis, Texas
Drink like an Anglo-Saxon with local Texas Honey and Bruce Leslie. Honey is the key, according to Leslie, and almost as important is what kind of nectar the bees collect. Wildflowers in one region will create a distinctly different tasting mead from honey gathered by bees sustained mostly on a grove of almond or citrus trees. That’s part of why the Leslie decided to set up shop in Willis. Being right next to the national forest, their bees exist predominantly on forest flowers. This, in part, gives Griffin Meads their distinctive flavor and flair.
