Magic… What is it?
There are many definitions of magic.
At golden coast mead, the discourse over magic is alive.
Some of us believe that magic is simply stuff that science hasn’t made boring yet. Some of us believe it is that which others do not yet understand.
Some call it fantasy. Some call it the non-material layers of reality and the ways that we humans interface with them. Some of us say it is finding a means to acheive something when others think that something is impossible.
Maybe it is using the power of consciousness to shift reality. Maybe it is that which is delightfully surprising like the dictionary says. Maybe it is shamanism and/or reiki and chi-qong, astrology, herbology, geomancy, arithmancy, channeling, zen, hermetics, prayer, heart/brain coherence, flow… maybe it is infinite and ever changing.
Regardless, we know that when we make and share good mead with the world, it can have a delightful, inspiring, transformative effect. We like to think of that as magic, and we hope to offer mead and experiences that help more people find their beneficient, beneficial, benevolent forms of magic.
Because as Buckminster Fuller and Dumbledore say, love is [metaphysical gravity]/[the strongest magic] and we are certain the world needs all of us sharing our unique and regenerative love with it and the universe beyond every day.
